奧運除了教練選手等相關隊職員與會，來自世界各地的媒體數量也相當可觀。我國巴黎奧運考察團在巴黎時間16日前往預計入住的媒體酒店，位於大小巴黎交界，附近還有跳蚤市場，導覽人員不諱言地說，其實就是「贓物大本營」，治安堪慮，媒體要多加留意。
這次許多媒體將入住在巴黎蒙馬特門宜必思快捷酒店，附近有一個跳蚤市場「Flea Market Rue Jean Henri Fabre」。
考察團當天搭巴士經過跳蚤市場的外圍，發現該市場風格都是仿冒品，也看到許多遊民在橋下的「地盤」。
根據GOOGLE地圖上對於跳蚤市場的評論，有網友留言「小心點，以前行情很好，現在卻是災難，到處都是小偷」、「以前是多元文化、多元商品的地方，現在只剩下一系列破舊的、銷售假運動服的攤位」、「周圍的地方很髒，這是奇蹟的地點」。
導覽人員表示，這裡其實就是「贓物大本營」，賣的大多是來歷不明的東西，龍蛇雜處、小偷猖獗。
導覽人員也直言，媒體身上攜帶的電腦、攝影機、相機等，在小偷眼中就像是「待宰的肥羊」，一定要相當注意隨身物品，最好不要把器材放在車上的明顯處，不只停好車，就算只是暫時的塞車也一樣，你的車窗很有可能被砸碎，器材被搶。

The tour guides also emphasized that the electronic devices, cameras, and laptops carried by the media are like "fat lambs" in the eyes of thieves. They urged media personnel to be extremely cautious about their belongings, advising against leaving equipment visibly in vehicles, as even a momentary traffic jam might lead to smashed windows and stolen equipment.
In addition to coaches, athletes, and other team members, a considerable number of media representatives from around the world also attend the Olympics. The Paris Olympic inspection team from our country visited the designated media hotel on the 16th, located at the border of central and suburban Paris, near a flea market. The tour guides openly referred to it as the "thieves' headquarters," expressing concerns about security, and advised the media to be vigilant.
Many media members are expected to stay at the Ibis Budget Paris Montmartre hotel, with the nearby "Flea Market Rue Jean Henri Fabre."
During the inspection, the team passed by the perimeter of the flea market, noticing that the market predominantly featured counterfeit goods. Additionally, there were numerous homeless individuals in makeshift shelters beneath the bridges.
According to comments on Google Maps about the flea market, some users warned, "Be careful; it used to be good, but now it's a disaster with thieves everywhere," "It used to be a multicultural, diverse place with various goods, but now it's just a series of stalls selling old and fake sportswear," "The surrounding area is dirty; this is a miraculous location."
The tour guides explicitly stated that this area is essentially the "thieves' headquarters," where the majority of items sold have questionable origins, and it is known for its disorder and rampant theft.
